The term, condotel refers to a lodging facility that operates as both a hotel but with guestrooms featuring condominium-ownership features. Also known as a "condo hotel" or a "hotel-condo."
Condotels are one of several alternative schemes for financing and developing lodging facilities, such alternatives including fractional ownership and timeshare strategies.
