Stonecreek Partners' creative affiliate Adventure Studios conducted a charrette session with Oxnard marina district personnel, concerning the future of certain public lands let under ground lease at the Oxnard Marina in Oxnard, California. The City of Oxnard is home to two harbors: Channel Islands Harbor and Ventura Harbor. Both harbors are vital fishing industry harbors and the fish caught off the Oxnard coast is served in restaurants around the world.
The charrette session included an evaluation of market circumstances, competitive project areas in the region, ownership issues, marina liveaboard policies, and overall opportunities and constraints to various redevelopment approaches.
Founded in 1903, Oxnard is Ventura County (California)'s largest city in terms of population, as well as one of the world's most important agricultural centers, with its distinction as a major regional strawberry and lima bean grower.
