The world's largest operator of working, non-military submarines, Atlanis Submarines, was interested in creating and operating a major eco tourism, dive, and tourist themed entertainment destination off the coast of Miami, Florida.
A project concept was developed based upon "big idea" considerations and strategic marketing considerations. The attraction was planned to include a land-side debarkation center and a floating offshore platform. Facilities would include a submarine base, diving experience, liveaboard embarkation center, explorer's museum, dinner show, and of course, underwater marine life tours in real submarines as part of this dive resort.
