Creative Producer, Universal Studios U Link Network Universal City, Californa USA Beijing PRC Orlando, Florida USA More Retail & Shopping Centers ... click for more projects A private commercial network called "U Link," was created with a first full installation at Universal Studios Experience in Beijing, and a partial installation at the Universal Studios Store at CityWalk Orlando. The private network features unique single screen and side-by-side five-screen media presentations. The business idea behind the award-winning U Link network was to create an integrated media offering that would feature and promote Universal Studios film, television, music, interactive, and recreation product. Small production teams at Universal Studios theme parks worldwide would cover daily "items of interest" at the studio. The format would be fast-paced with rough edges to enhance the behind-the-scenes and up-to-the-minute feel of the programming. The branded private commercial network also included backstage "peeks," brief interviews with production teams, the latest theme park goings-on, snippets from Universal Concerts, music videos in production, and television shows in casting. U-Link multi-screen media shows created at the Universal Studios Experience received the Worldfest Gold Award for New Media (1998) at the Flagstaff International Film Festival
