Design and construction of the Universal Studios Store at Universal Experience Beijing. The store was intended as a flagship statement of the Universal Studios brand and as a principal themed entertainment attraction at Universal Studios Experience Beijing.
With an integrated approach, the sign / identity and storefront / entry merge to create a single emotive gesture. The merchandise fixtures were designed for maximum flexibilty. Panels fold, hinge, and swing to transform each fixture type. Other fixtures roll on tracks to create new spatial configurations to support always-fresh merchandising displays.
