Market study and financial feasibility study for proposed regional theme park to be located at Castle Rock, Colorado, midpoint between the metropolitan areas of Denver and Colorado Springs. The venue was specifically evaluated for its competitiveness with such facilities as Elitch Gardens in Denver.
After extensive analysis it was determined that there was not likely to be sufficient demand to warrant the level of investment under consideration for the project. Recommendations were made for a scaled-down approach, more akin to an amusement park than a fully-realized theme park venue.
